Job Purpose:
5th Street Capital, Inc. is seeking highly motivated Wholesale Mortgage Account Executives to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for soliciting new business from mortgage entities (Brokers) in assigned territory
- Manage the sales cycle, and consistently meet and exceed sales goals
- Obtains approval packages for new clients
- Communicate and train clients on products, policies and procedures
- Attend meetings of local and state trade associations as directed by management
- Stay abreast of indices, market changes, and underwriting guideline changes in order to discuss the mortgage market in an informed manner
- Understand the rate lock process and requirements, answering lock related questions from mortgage brokers
- Partner with Account Managers to ensure there is excellent communication and problem resolution on all loans in their pipeline
Requirements:
- Existing Broker relationships
- 1-3 years experience as Account Executive inside or outside sales in Wholesale lending channel
- Minimum of 3 years mortgage industry experience
- Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of MS office products
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong sales acumen and demonstrated history of achieving monthly sales targets
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines
